Had the perfect Sunday with my family. We spent the day at the Feast of San Gennaro in NYC. After, we drove and walked around Soho.
It’s good to remember where you came from and celebrate it. I was raised in NY the city that never sleeps. If you can make it here you can make it anywhere, That’s what they say right? Back in the year 2000 my twin sister Carole, and my cousin Elizabeth and I, all got a job in Soho. We worked at two different boutiques by the same owner, one block apart. We would take the train from Queens into NYC. Our train stop was Broadway a block away from our job, only a 5 minute walk. At the end of each day we would meet up and walk a few extra miles down cobblestone streets, admiring the unique architecture, and mostly Soho’s edgy and chic street style and boutiques. We would walk from Broadway to the train stop on west 4th Street a few miles from where we worked. Soho is one of NYC Most fashion forward neighborhoods, so it was always nice and inspiring to see what people were wearing. Friday nights was our shopping nights we would visit boutiques searching for unique shoes and outfits for the weekend. This is where my collection of shoes began. Check-out my OOTD below.
Wearing my new favorite cardigan by C.A.S.L.O.N purchased at nordstrom. It’s so soft you’ll want to wear it to bed.
My Shoes are from Shopbop Sol Sana Fremont Wedge Oxfords Ivory. wearing a size 38. If you wear a half size size up I’m a size 7 1/2 so I sized up to a size 8. (37.5, 38). I have been wearing these a lot this season. My current favorite. I have to say I’m slightly obsessed with them.
my jeans are a pair of high waisted skinny’s. I linked a few favorites for you. Click on image to shop.
Did you know October is Breast cancer awareness month? Well Gorjana is donating 20% of proceeds to breast cancer research. The necklace I’m wearing is from Gorjana.
