As a little girl I was always fascinated by my mothers make up collection. Specially her Chanel blush, blush brushes and bright Red lipsticks. I would take one of her large brushes and apply a ton of blush to my pale cheeks. I think I was going for a more dramatic look haha. I have so many great memories. Amongs all the great memories I have of my mom (May she rest in peace) is the ones of me playing dress up and makeup in her room. My mom didn’t only have a makeup collection she also had a large perfume collection. One of her favorite frangrance was Chanel N°5 , Which for limited time only, has been redesigned in a red color bottle. After Gabrielle Chanel’s favorite color. It’s such a pretty bottle, collectible worthy for sure. My mom would spray this fragrance on me when she would catch me playing dress up. Very little of it, as you may or may not know this fragrance can go along way just as the blush. My mom allowed me to play freely with her makeup and I honestly don’t remember her ever getting upset at it. Anytime I smell someone wearing chanel N°5 it brings an instant memory of my childhood. The same happens when I apply my Chanel blush. I think the light rose scent the blushes have had for so many years is what makes this memory seem so fresh in my mine. It is safe to say this beauty addict got it from her mama.
Well not much has changed since then, my go to blush is still a Chanel blush. I don’t apply as much to my cheeks as I did when I was a little girl, but just enough to make me blush. As I mentioned before a little Chanel blush goes a long way. Their lustrous pigments are rich, seamless, silky and delicate all at Once. You wont need much for a flirty, radiant glow. I happen to love the slight rose scent because it just smells nice and again it brings great memories of when I was just a kid playing dress up with my mom. What’s even better is it’s buildable coverage. You can easily achieve a natural or dramatic look depending on the amount you apply. Here’s a little tip on how to look awake and more youthful by using this blush. Use the LES PINCEAUX DE CHANEL Blush Brush to apply your blush. Or you can use the integrated brush that comes with it. Apply it high on the cheekbones close to the eyes. It will give your face a soft and more youthful look.

My first Chanel blush was JOUES CONTRASTE in 68 – ROSE ECRIN. I use this one for many years. The one in my makeup bag now is the Chanel Irreelle Silky Cheek Color 26 Neroli Rose which is discontinued but I linked a few website below that carry it. This goes to show how long a Chanel blush can last.
