We will be having our special Christmas breakfast on this pretty table this Christmas. Every year I make special pancakes for the kids. In all different shapes like a penguin, Santa, raindeer, candy cane, and Christmas tree shape pancakes. Usually I make whatever the children request. They always have a special request on what they want.
My Fireplace and Great room Decor.
One of my favorite places to decorate every holiday is my Great room Fireplace. We spend a lot of time here watching movies with the kids. it’s so nice to sit by the fireplace and enjoy some quality time with the family. We got our garland from Costco and our “Merry Christmas” Garland fromPottery Barn for Only $10 what a deal!, and stockings are also from Pottery Barn Kids.
How cute is our furry friend Henry wearing a Pottery Barn Kids Antler headband ? How about our little Bob standing by this cute Stepping Santa ? We are all so excited for Christmas this year. This is the best year as our youngest Bobby is now 2 and knows about Santa. All three kids are filled with excitement for Christmas morning this year.

The formal Dinning room is the room that gets the least use. I’m sure it’s the same for many other families. Or isn’t it? Maybe I should think of using it more often. Any ideas ? Feel free to leave me a comment below. I would love to hear what other families do to get more use out of their formal dinning room. We sit here maybe twice a year. But when we do we have the best time with our family and friends. I went with an antler theme table setting decor. Most items are from Pottery Barn including the antler chandelier. My scalloped charger plates came from Pier 1 Imports . One of my favorite items are the Pearl Twig shimmer placemats also from Pier 1 that are on major sale right now for $11.99. I use these almost all year round.
